Purpose

Founded on December 6th, 1945 at Yale University, Alpha Sigma Phi is America’s 10th oldest and fastest growing fraternity. The national fraternity consists of over 100 chapters and thousands of members all united by a rewarding brotherhood. 
The Gamma Kappa chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at Michigan State University was founded in 1956 upon the purpose, “To Better the Man.” The fraternity achieves for this goal through the creation and perpetuation of brotherhood founded upon the five values of character… Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, Patriotism
