About Alpha Gamma Rho at Michigan State University

Members of Alpha Gamma Rho believe in building better men through academics, excellence, and leadership. Alpha Gamma Rho is a professional-social fraternity for men pursuing careers in the food, fiber, or life sciences industries. Alpha Gamma Rho was established nationally in 1904 and at MSU in 1922. Today Alpha Gamma Rho boosts 70 active chapters nationwide, with a chapter at nearly every major agricultural college and Land Grant University.

The world needs a few good men. The kind of men who lead by the example of their character and the value of their actions. For more than 100 years, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity has successfully endeavored to make such men – taking the best and making them better by helping to harness the power within each man to achieve his potential.
